NAVIGATE NAMED ART & DESIGN LICENSEE OF THE YEAR

Navigate was recognized by The Licensing Industry Manufacturers Association for the beautifully crafted gardening product developed for The Very Hungry Caterpillar under its license with The World of Eric Carle™.The range, which also includes a lunch bag and drink bottle in the same design, has been a huge hit since its launch last year. The worldwide licensing agent for The World of Eric Carle is The Joester Loria Group and Rocket Licensing is the local agent in the UK and Ireland.

Navigate’sBusiness Development Manager, Hana Hammali is delighted to have won "We are thrilled to have received such an accolade. We know that the range has been very well received but to receive such recognition is fabulous. We look forward to continuing to build on the success of The Very Hungry Caterpillar with new product, and we would like to congratulate the other winners."

The International Licensing Excellence Awards honour the best, most successful licensed properties, products and campaigns in eight distinct categories: Art or Design; Character or Toy; Corporate Brand; Film, Television, Celebrity or Entertainment; and Sports.This year’s nominees were selected from among a record 270 entries.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle, is beloved by three generations, a favourite with children and mums. Selling 33 million copies worldwide the book has been translated into more than 50 languages. It is the number one most read children's book in the UK,according to a report produced by the Early Learning Centre in February. The range is sold by online and independent high street retailers and garden centres across the UK and is part of a multi-category collection of licensed product including toys, games, apparel and home décor.
